Notre histoire commence

Julian Cowan fonde l'entreprise familiale Cole & Mason dans la City de Londres. Initialement spécialisée dans les articles cadeaux, Cole & Mason s'est rapidement et avec succès diversifiée dans la quincaillerie et les articles ménagers.

Lancement de notre premier moulin

L'ambition de Julian se concrétisa lorsque Cole & Mason lança son premier moulin : le moulin Capstan, actionné à la main à Park Green. Succès immédiat sous la marque Peter Piper, son design est resté pratiquement inchangé à ce jour.

La première usine acrylique au monde

Cole & Mason lance la première machine à fabriquer des pièces en acrylique au monde, l'emblématique 505. Inspirée des poignées de porte en acrylique que l'on voit lors d'un dîner, la 505 reste un classique populaire et intemporel, et fait toujours partie de notre gamme principale.

Notre premier moulin 2 en 1

Toujours tournée vers l'avenir, Cole & Mason obtient un brevet pour son moulin innovant Duo. Ce modèle ingénieux combine un moulin à sel et un moulin à poivre dans un seul récipient, offrant ainsi une solution élégante et peu encombrante.

Prix ​​de la Reine pour la réussite à l'exportation

Ayant connu un succès national et international, Cole & Mason reçoit le Queen's Award for Export Achievement, après être devenue la marque numéro un au Royaume-Uni pour les moulins à sel et à poivre au début des années 1980.

Notre premier moulin électronique

Pour rester à la pointe de la technologie, Cole & Mason lance son premier broyeur électronique, baptisé « Manhattan », qui s'avère être un ajout réussi à notre gamme de broyeurs en constante expansion.

Une nouvelle et moderne gamme de moulins

En 2010, nous avons lancé notre emblématique moulin Derwent, au design moderne et à la structure transparente. Il a inspiré le moulin à piments et épices Stadhampton, lancé 12 ans plus tard, en 2022.

Un siècle de saveurs

Cole & Mason célèbre son centenaire avec le coffret cadeau Knightsbridge Centenary Silver en édition limitée. 2019 marque également le lancement de Precision+, un nouveau mécanisme en acier au carbone qui offre une extraction plus intense de poivre et d'arômes à chaque tour.

La collection de Londres

Lancée en septembre 2023, la collection London célèbre le savoir-faire centenaire de Cole & Mason en matière d'assaisonnement. Inspirée par l'architecture Art déco et industrielle londonienne, elle rend hommage à notre héritage tout en proposant un design à la fois classique et contemporain, résolument tourné vers l'avenir.
