STEEPED IN HISTORY
We launched the worlds first acrylic mill, the "505" in 1975. Julian Cowan, son of founder David Cowan, was inspired by a friend's dining room's acrylic doorknobs; and so an icon was born.
It has been a best-seller ever since.
Exceptionally Engineered
Featuring the Cole & Mason Precision mechanisms; carbon steel for pepper that strips peppercorns instead of crushing them, and diamond-sharp ceramic for salt, ensures maximum flavor release at every turn.
The hard wearing qualities of the mechanisms are supported by their lifetime guarantee meaning you can be assured of consistently outstanding performance for years to come.
Easily adjust the grind from fine to coarse by loosening the knob at the top. Select a fine grind for a big punch in sauces or soups or effortlessly switch to a more coarse grind for a more subtle but longer lasting taste, great for salads or steaks.
Easy To Refill
The crystal clear acrylic is not only durable and easy to clean but also adds a touch of sparkle to any dinner table setting.
The mills come partially filled with premium Vietnamese black peppercorns and Belgian sea salt so are ready to use from the moment they arrive.
When you do need to refill, simply unscrew the knob on the top and remove along with the acrylic top.
