Christmas Puff Pastry Pinwheels

I've got two awesome versions for you: pizza pinwheels and pesto pinwheels. With just 12 -15 minutes in the oven, you'll achieve golden perfection.
These puff pastry pinwheels, besides being a flavor explosion, bring that Christmas spirit to every bite. And here's a plus: serve them with your favorite dip to make it even more awesome!
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
Pizza Pinwheels:
- 3 tbsp pasta sauce
- 1/4 cup grated mozzarella
- 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 tsp chili flakes shaker
Pesto Pinwheels:
- 2 tbsp basil pesto
- 1/4 cup grated mozzarella
- 2 tbsp chopped sun-dried tomatoes
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Lay out the puff pastry sheet and cut it in half using a serrated knife.
- For Pizza Pinwheels: Roll out one half of the puff pastry. Spread pasta sauce, add mozzarella, sprinkle mixed herbs, and top it off with a kick of chili flakes from your Saunderton spice shaker.
- For Pesto Pinwheels: Roll out the other half of the puff pastry. Spread basil pesto, add mozzarella, and scatter chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
- Roll each tightly and place in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up. After chilling, slice into 1-inch pinwheels.
- Place the pinwheels on a baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes until they turn a delicious golden brown.
- Serve these tasty pinwheels with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy the burst of flavors in every bite!
